Meet Leicester City's unsung hero

Table topping Leicester City has been the team to beat this season and the club's success has been mostly linked with attacking duo of Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy. Few people seem to be noticing the influence of  French midfielder, N'golo Kante. The 24 year old defensive midfielder joined  joined Leicester City earlier this season from Ligue 1 club Caen in France for a fee of 5.6 million Britain Pounds. Kante has formed a rock solid midfield partnership with Danny Drinkwater. Earlier this season the club manager Claudio Ranieri compared the qualities of Kante to those of former Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele. The Parisian born midfielder has scored one goal and creating three assists in the process for Leicester City this season. His only goal for Leicester came on a 2-1 victory over Watford at King Power Stadium on 7 November 2015.

Amla, De Kock steer Proteas to a comfortable win

South Africa's Quinton De Kock and Hashim Amla  produced a batting masterclass to steer the Proteas to a comfortable seven wicket victory over England at SuperSport Park on Tuesday. The Proteas came into the clash trailing 2-0, after losing previous matches played at  Mangaung Oval and St Georges Park. England had earlier won the toss and elected to bat first. The visitors posted 318/8 after 50 overs, leaving the host needing a massive 319 runs to win the match.  Joe Root was the only centurion from the England team. Root was eventually dismissed on 125 runs by David Wiese's run out. South Africa produced the first wicket partnership score of 239 runs. Sexwale's chances of leading FIFA looks slim

South Africa's Tokyo Sexwale chances of leading the football governing body took a huge blow when CAF annnounced they will back President of  Asian Football confederation  Shaikh Salman Bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa for the upcoming FIFA elections. According to CAF Sexwale has withdrawn from the race to land the FIFA hot seat in order to "support the interest and unity of African football". In a statement released by CAF on 5 February, the Federation argued all 54 African countries to rally behind the Asian. "While respecting the principles of democracy, the sovereignty and latitude of each member association to vote for the candidate of its choice the Executive committee urges all the 54 member associations of CAF to reserve their votes for Shaikh Salman Bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa  during the 26 February 2016 elections for the Presidency of FIFA in Zurich," CAF said.
